Oops- long time no see!
I recently traded my nights blogging for Columbo and Star Trek marathons, but everyday i think of how my blog has been gathering dust. With my cloud's memory being full it ends up being a bit more difficult and even more time consuming to make my blog entries [believe it or not; an average blog post of mine takes roughly an hour from start to finish and the more photos there are the longer it takes- even with having everything written and such on my phone beforehand!].
Anyways here's a longer compilation of my coordinates from the past two months, hopefully i can update my mail thread soon, as well as catch up with my lolita 52 weeks challenge especially since i successfully got well over half-way through with it!!

Went out again to that big trendy concept bistro with another friend. I wanted to wear my ivory velveteen jsk because hell I want to wear it as much as I can before it warms up. This time I tried going as full ivory as I could with everything being so sans my shoes 🤍

Outfit point: Classic BABY

So fun fact I wanted a navy velveteen BABY piece ever since I saw this coord posted all those years ago. This was my ohmage to that exact coord, utilizing both brown and ivory with the luxurious shade of navy. It all ended up falling short for me though from the second I decided to take out my Cris mini mini instead of my usakumya- like the coord utilizes. So I’ll have to repeat it someday with her 💙

This particular outing was to see Mickey 17 with a friend and it was really a great movie

outfit point: welcoming spring with gingham

My first picnic of the year was done solo. It was such such such a beautiful day I couldn’t resist doing such an impromptu little thing for myself and at a park I adore that’s right down the street from me that I simply don’t take as much advantage of as I could!

I felt embarrassed as always trying to take some little pictures of myself but I’m glad I tried~

I’m becoming quite obsessed with black gingham tbh when I didn’t care for it just a couple of months ago- but I don’t want to overwhelm my wardrobe with even more black even if it’s counterbalanced with white in the patterning! Maybe I’ll try to get a sax or another red gingham piece…

outfit point: clogs!

Honestly one of my favorite coords this year period. Maybe a top three all around as well. I didn’t expect it to seriously looks so well put together, elegant and cute all at the same time. My utilization of my new clogs was especially successful and I still can’t get over them, and not to mention my hair was perfect as well in tying it all together. The white tie contrasting with the black dress as well as the ivory blouse was also a great detail I’m happy was successful.

This coord was literally just to go do errands! Can you believe it?!! I ended up wearing it again when I went out with a friend but once it cools down I’ll be busting it out again and again!

our Sakura picnic! I’d just received this dress in the mail and I was seriously so happy it came just in time for the picnic because it’s seriously so springy heehee~ it’s also I think one of my most comfortable dresses ever and I’m so glad for that. I’m not entirely sure how or why I chose to go with brown shoes for it, but it definitely worked. I’m super happy with this coord and received lots of compliments from it❤️

Convention time! Busted out my bags as always as went full blown… idk what to call it exactly? Idk I ended up calling this coord my final form tbh lol- classic rxw cul de Paris combined with my favorite white boots and then messing it up a bit with rxw socks- idk it was perfect perfect perfect. I’m happy I was able to get to this high point in my coordinating~

I went on a Friday so it was more calm than usual, but no one else went except Franci who ended up being in cosplay but we hung out a bit and I still had a bunch of right fun. ❤️

There was a special high fashion exhibition at a modern art museum in my city, and I knew I wanted to go for sure and a couple of weeks ago I saw I missed the guided tour and was pretty sad about it but then later on I saw they would do another one so I quickly hoped on it and got my tickets because I knew I wouldn’t regret it. I ended up going with my mom and met up with Fedi, a newer comm member there and it was really nice.

I don’t know how or why I arrived at this coord but it’s another top 3 contender for fav coords of the year. It’s seriously ita-maxing and I love it so much!! I can only imagine showing 15 year old me this coord and seeing how I’d break down at how painful it would’ve been considered back then!! www and for that I love it- as well as it looking cool af now!

I was actually totally inspired by this coord{lost it rip} I saw just the other week and wanted to copy it with my own ribbon scallop jsk, I got close but idk there’s just some aspect I’m missing that makes it fall short from the charmingness which is so enticing from this Lolita…

Regardless I’m happy it’s warm enough for me to go about wearing white and such! (Though as if that’d stop me with the way I wear my ivory velveteen jsk into the ground in the winter).

I actually got dressed in a restaurant after work lol I wore my blouse with some slack and once I was done I met with Franci, we went to eat and I put on my coord in the bathroom and did my makeup at the table lol. She said it was fun seeing me become more and more me right in front of her, watching every step of the process like a magical girl transformation of sorts lmao.

I was also chiikawa maxxing as evident with my chiikawa grapevine since our goal that day was getting merch at the local miniso with the chiikawa merch in stock.

The comm’s 3rd anniversary tea party!

I wanted to try out a theme so I said for everyone to recreate their first coord ever for it. This of course wasn’t my first coord ever but it was my first coord for the comm’s first meet (yes it was just an excuse for me to bust out French cafe).

This is one of those coords that makes 15 year old me cry in joy for sure, and I’m happy how well my baby dupe shoes fit so well in this coord~

There was a special screening for Blade Runner and I love love love seeing my fav movies on the big screen in a theater!! I went with my mommy and we got some drinks and stuff beforehand~ I actually accident bought tickets for the dub and we arrived like 5 minutes late to the movie, but the theater was so so so nice and lets us exchange the tickets for the later showing that was SUBbed- THANK GOD!

I seriously was overjoyed to see this movie on the big screen, it’s deserving of it!

Outfit point: I felt very dolly~

I’m lucky that my insta algorithm knows me yet doesn’t- my ads are thankfully carefully curated and seem to end up coming in waves depending on the 3 things I do end up clicking per year. Thankfully again I get a good amount of local ads which weighing out ads I think count more in general- I wouldn’t say I love but I do prefer and don’t feel as annoyed when an ad I get is for a local band, a local venue, a local restaurant, a local business yknow? Anyways I got an as for a famous local hotel that’s been having not a rebranding but they went under new management a couple of years ago so it’s apparent they’re implementing some changes. And whaddayaknow I got an ad for their restaurant showcasing the fact they would be having a limited Easter themed high tea!

I jumped on it, unfortunately no one in my comm would be able to accompany me but that’s alright. I really don’t mind doing stuff alone, sometimes in fact I prefer it.

The coord itself isn’t anything amazing but I guess it quite elegant. The aspect of full-full ivory was great and the breaks with its sister color brown on only my head and feet was also a nice way to wrap up the coordinate.

The tea itself was nice but the service was what ended up leaving a mark on me. The servers all came and made genuine conversation with me and it was really cute and it made me happy I’m able to have these experiences in particular when I’m by myself~

Outfit point: a bit princessy

If you ask me if I like flowers I’ll give you a half hearted “eh, I guess”; because im envisioning a bouquet of flowers. But the thing is I LOVE PLANTS, I love seeing the little guys grow and stuff so i guess the thing is - I do enjoy flowers, but when they’re doing their own business.

So anyways last year my family tried going to the communal rose garden and it began pouring the second we got there; I toughed it out though and enjoyed it by myself. This year we weren't rained out and i went with my mother after getting lunch nearby~

Franci recently decided to get the same taobao skirt I have but in bxb so I don’t know how it happened but I guess naturally we decided to “opposite” twin because of that. Actually despite having pretty similar wardrobes we haven’t 1:1 twinned yet as much as we both want to though; hopefully someday!!

Anyways this coord is similar actually to one I wore some years ago that I really enjoyed and never got to repeat. I suppose this is a re-take of the coord and one I’m really happy I was able to conjure because I don’t know it really is a great coord~ the Spica tie especially was such a cute touch and I’m glad I’m using it plenty; I actually have a BxW mini tie but I end up never using it, I was scared I wasn’t able to enjoy wearing mini ties but I guess in the end it’s just that particular one that’s not me. I’ll have to get a red tie from them as well at some point honestly…

I just wish I’d gotten more pictures with my mini cape on, it was a great touch to it as well~

There's so many more pictures i'd love to post- at this point I think i do pretty well documenting what i want documented. But its been 3 hours and my computer is actually struggling just copying photos from my mobile cloud to my computer's cloud. Its seriously a slow process and the fact so many photos are HEIC just makes matters worse; I'm saved by my digi camera's pictures but i dont constantly upload those so it can be slow getting them, as well as the fact i prioritize group photos/ photos of the comm in general.
