ππ₯π’ ππ―ππ³π’πΆππ―π‘. A bit morbid, no? And i admit maybe kind of useless- though i'd have to disagree as well; i think keeping track of what you no longer have quite useful! By having all lined up the things you bought and then put out you can track the similarities in their designs - perhaps there's design aspects about them which drew you to them [yes of course] but then maybe you didn't enjoy seeing them on yourself! maybe this is why you ended up never or barely wearing them and decided they needed to go to a new home! or maybe you just tired of it, or maybe your style is changing in general (so hm, the initial statement would/could still apply then?)
Regardless i document all the pieces i own at this point and once they're shipped off to their new homes, i'm left with their PNGs, i may as well artfully catalogue them as a reminder of what once was, because why not right?

"Lilliberri" Tiered Cotton OP
I got this because i thought it'd be a go-to summer staple piece. It was cotton and nice and airy and oh-so cute!... To bad the cut wasn't flattering whatsoever on me. I played around with it occasionally indoors, and i ended up using it out only ever once to out first comm picnic! But that was it... i honestly didn't see myself wearing it anymore. It ended being a slightly coveted piece i think- the brand did re-release it but it was pretty different, with a chiffon overlayer that just i think downright ruined anything charming the dress ever had about it. hm rip.
She sold off easily thankfully i hope her new owner is enjoying her this summer!
Little Dipper Cherry Cardigan
Still available on Taobao. A very useful basic piece the majority of all sweet lolitas i follow have in multiple colorways this little bolero. Emphasis on the sweet lolita here i guess. I am a sweet- but old school sweet. the difference really can be drawn solidly in the dirt if so needed. I used the red one i think twice, the white one only once at home. As i got more and more old school these two boleros just kind of just... didn't go with the pieces i had. That and i got a baby and aatp cardigan last winter and i've ended up using only those so... i guess the difference in style also became clear.
I was luckily able to sell them together to the same buyer so less stress there.
BTSSB Back Ruffle Full Pleated Skirt 2002
[poopy picture sorry] I couldn't hold onto this skirt for even a year rip... I bought it as a birthday present for myself because look at it!! its everything!! She was gorgeous, she was everything she... Zipped up yes, and buttoned up- to an extent... but then i couldn't exhale once it was.
I thought of dieting- i still wanted to (and have to) loose a couple of kg, but i measured the waist and i was heartbroken, i felt and still feel like i'd never actually be able to reach a 63cm waist that would make this skirt useable. I tried coording it with blouses covering the waist but unfortunately its a skirt whose details are meant to be shown off completely, so it never looked proper nor good with my blouses cover its waist section
I thought of altering it as well... but its just to chock full of details and fru-fru to even try attempting to do so- in my opinion it'd always just look... off in the end no matter what.
A shame but thankfully i sold her to a fellow OS server member. <3
Demonia Dollie-01
These shoes lasted exactly 3 light wears before the strap completely broke off one side. I took these shoes- which i paid way too much on to start with- roughly 4 times to fix. I got them in March, come december when the strap popped off once again on the train platform i said enough and promptly sold them broken and all on vinted.
I'm still sour about it because truthfully i've always looked at demonia stock and thought it taobao tier, admittedly these were not, but their construction has so many flaws i dont recommend these to anyone. Its a downright shame too because i didbuy a taobao pairfrom shop in time [formally "something" jelly i believe] as replacements to these but... the look just isnt the same!!!

I'm too tired and angry still to talk about the shit its been with this dress after selling it at the beginning of the month
GURURU White Belt Boots (2022)
These boots always got so much attention when i wore them which i still find entertaining to no end because they're literally a $20 pair of pleather boots. But anyways, i ended feeling they were too busy and modern for my style. I was able to easily and thankfully sell them to my friend :), she always coords them well and it makes me so happy to see so!!
HoneyCherry White Teaparty Shoes
My first lolita shoes. I'm honestly still debating if i get a pair of red or brown teaparties- they're THE absolute ICONIC shoe design in lolita honestly, right?? I wore these a couple of times, but they stick out funny with old school- idk it just feel like old school HAS TO BE WITH PLATFORMS, even though thats totally not the case. Maybe i'm just platform obsessed.
I ended up trading this with a friend and fellow comm-member for a pair of aliexpress/bodyline white RHS shoes... but i ended up selling them too. I guess it's bubble-toe or nothing for me when it comes to shoes haha
BTSSB Tartan Check Skirt 2006
A recent sale... I only ever wore her once and it wasnt even in lolita. I was really proud to have this piece but whenever i put it on and coorded it i felt.. NOTHING. it brought me no joy- or anything while wearing it!! i really dont know how else to describe how i felt whenever i put this skirt on except maybe just, "thats it?"
A shame really because she fit like a glove.
The buyer i sold this to told me she was really excited to have it because she already has the matching jacket- *grits teeth in jealousy* lucky her!

WIREHEAD Shirred tartan camisole (2022??)
A treasured piece from the early days of WIREHEAD. Unfortunately i only ever wore it once, and with a skirt that wasnt even mine!! I hope the buyer gives her a better life than i could~
